We have so many OTT platforms and streaming services these days and we can get into movie watching at our convenience. Gone are days when movie watching used to take a lot of planning beforehand as we had to go out of our comfort of home to a movie theatre. And we had to think of the budget too. Movie watching did cost and so we did it in limit. But now we get it 24*7 at our convenience from the comfort of our home. Binge watching is one new trend that people often talk about. They watch movies and shows back to back spending hours.
For me, it's very rare that I get into binge watching. I deliberately keep my Screen watching time limited for few hours on weekend to avoid distractions. I have a late night movie watching ritual on Fridays to kick off the weekend mood. Yesterday, I watched two unfinished movies from last two weeks and one movie. Well, all three from Bollywood. Bollywood movies are lengthy, so I ended up spending five hours watching all together. That's very rare with me and happens once in a blue moon..
What about you? Share your thoughts and experiences around binge watching.

I'll take a day or two every few months to binge-watch movies or TV series. When it comes to binge-watching movies, I can only get through 2, maybe 3, movies before enough is enough. It's much different with TV series though. It's like I can seemingly watch an entire season over a few days.

This reminds me, I still have to finish Band of Brothers as I stopped on Episode 7.

We have a custom in our household and it's Star Wars Day. We're all huge Star Wars fans and on May 4th (or the nearest Sunday to it) we watch the entire original trilogy. We tried to increase that to include the prequels too, but then when the sequel trilogy came out, and Rogue One and Solo - it just became too much. But that's an annual marathon. MTFBWY.

I haven't had a movie marathon is such a long time. I can't even remember the last time I had a movie marathon but I know it was many, many years ago now.

When I sit and think about all the movies I have on my list to watch either that I just want to have watched or I want to watch before a new movie in that franchise comes out, there would be enough movies for sure to have a movie marathon.

I enjoy binge-watching movies and TV shows. I live by myself in a quiet area where there aren't many activities available. And, being more of an introvert, I like to spend my free time at home, catching up on Netflix and other streaming services. I usually do this on weekends or whenever I have some free time from work.

I don't really do it much, maybe once every couple of months, I usually do it more with series since I can watch chapter after chapter without having to look for another movie to watch...

I have a lot that I tend to do, and going movie marathon is now out of the picture. It will rob me of quality time that I should be spending doing other activities that I desire.
