discuss Motorola bendable phone

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
It looks like it can fall off quite easily with sweat or shaking, unless it pinches on too hard, and in that case, I would assume your hand would go numb from blood loss over time.

It looks like a gimmick and brings nothing new to the market.

AI-based themes based on your outfit? That could've been rolled out on any device. Sure, it wouldn't make as much sense as you're not wearing it as an accessory, much like a watch, but it is still doable to customize your appearance to anything else with AI generation, which could be useful in any other model.

I think it this is very impractical for two reasons

1. The idea of smart watch is similar and it didnt click very well in the market. Imagine you having to remove the watch form your wrist every time you want to answer a call. Its such a hassle.

2. With this large thing on the wrist, imagine you hit your hand somewhere accidentally and you would damage the entire piece. I am sure, the insurance wont cover physical damage anyway!

Someone should give me a reason why I shouldn't call this 'another pointless invention' 😕 The last thing I would ever thought of as cool is a smartphone I can roll on my wrists (got a watch for that, and it is serving me well).
Moreover, who actually cares about their phone's wallpaper aligning with their outfit? That is as childish as it gets. My opinion though.

I totally agree with this.

My smartwatch has a feature where you can snap a picture of you in phone and ask it to create a wallpaper that matche syour dress and then use it in the smartwatch. I think I used it only once and that too around 4 years after getting my smartwatch.

Seriously, who cares?
