This is happening to me, I have opted for automatic deduction of Netflix subscription on monthly basis, and since the past two payments, I realized that not even once, I have had time to sit and watch something on TV. However, I feel FOMO, and therefore I am hesitating to cancel the subscription. When I do sit to watch, though, I binge watch. Has this ever happened to you? How do you handle this phase?

This happens to me a lot, not just with Netflix but also with other services too. I have found now that WWE is on Netflix, it gets used a lot more, so it makes sense for me to keep it going instead of cancelling it as I get all weekly shows and the pay-per-views as well.

I found that I had to be strict with myself and tell myself it's better to cancel it than leave it running and subscribe again when you know you are going to be using it.

Well, in reality, I think this happens to everyone.

In my case, I watch Netflix regulalrly so its not eating my cash as I am using the subscription. However, as a measure of financial prudence, my advise is that you should stop having the FOMO and cancel subscriptions that you dont use.

Its going to be easier because you have identified that it is merely FOMO.
