discuss Is Liverpool FC winning the league because the other big teams are out of form this season?

After Liverpool FC crashed out of the champions league and lost the Carabao Cup, some people have suggested the team is not that good. All things being equal, Liverpool FC should win the Premier League unless some grand style bottling happens from them.

But people are suggesting that Liverpool FC are only winning the league because the other top teams like City, Chelsea, United and others are out of form this season.

Do you think Liverpool FC are winning the league because they are exceptionally good or because the other teams are having issues?

Liverpool has been playing fantastically well. Have you watched those guys run for 90 minutes? It is always like they took energy drink before entering the pitch, and yes, Salah has been phenomenal, and he's been the one driving the force for the win.

If Liverpool wins the league which looks more likely than not, you won't take anything from them with the guise that the other teams had an off season. When you look at the fact that they had a new coach this season, didn't make any major signings and still won the league, you would understand that they are deserving champions.

Unfortunately, this seems to be true, as all of its competitors are weak. All of the teams are weak, whether you are a Liverpool fan or not. This does not mean that Liverpool’s level is good.

None of the competitors of Liverpool are weak. I won't agree with that. Man City still has the same team that dominated the EPL last year. It is just that the teams that were supposed to compete with Liverpool have been all found out while Liverpool can't be found out. Kudos to Liverpool.

Big teams like united and chelsea were bad last season as well. The only unexpected falloff was that of City.
The fact is, the premier league has been really competitive. Teams like forest have difficult to beat.
Liverpool lost the champions league match against psg. But, psg are playing in a considerably less competitive league (their players are less tired and resting players is possible). On the other hand, Liverpool have had to play the entire season with a tight knit squad.
Don't get me wrong, I do believe that Liverpool bottled their chances to win a treble second season in a row because their attack couldn't score at the business end of the season. I have explained the same in the post I have posted.

Liverpool played their season well and also managed their injuries well because that was the biggest disadvantage most big clubs had this season. They lost their grip on other tournaments late, otherwise they would have still been in UCL.

It is such a shame that the performance in the league cannot be replicated in Europe. That's why you have 14th placed Manchester United still unbeaten in Europa league.

No, they haven't won it and neither is Arsenal too. Imagine how Mbappé is going to feel should PSG win the UEFA Champions League after he left the club to join Real Madrid.

I don't know what to say brother because I know Europa League is also very competitive but they mamaged to play so well in the league even with travelling long distances before playing away games. In EPL, they are completely useless.

If there is another word worse than useless, it should go to both of those clubs in the Premier League this season. Good thing either of them have a shot at playing Champions League next season.

Yeah and guess what? It keeps getting worse. The person that said Europa league winners should not automatically qualify for Champions League has a point. Imagine finishing 17th and playing in the Champions League while the team that finished 6th couldn't.
It's messed up.

Liverpool had a stellar season in the premier league that other teams just couldn't match. That's why they won the league. Other big teams tried to play their best football but they weren't up to the form of Liverpool in the league. It wasn't a lucky win. They won because they are the best.
