Indian Gurus have revolutionized and changed the world. From controversial figures like Bikram Yogi and Osho to more intellectual Gurus like Sadhguru, and Sri Sri Ravishankar, Indian Gurus have fan following all over. Do you follow any Indian Gurus, dead or alive? What do you like about the Indian Guru that you follow?

I don't follow them. I try to be independent and not follow anyone but stick to what I feel in my heart is right.

However, I feel that nature is akin to the Great Spirit, much like how Native Americans feel or have felt about it. I can sense nature as alive, working in harmony, and communicating. I reach a pretty profound spiritual level when I'm out in nature.

Well, I also don't follow them but I read from them. I have read a lot of Indian Gurus, dead and alive and some of them have really struck deep.

i think indians if they keep up the spirit they will reach the level of china, keep it up indians we enjoy everything you do also your awesome movies .

I think they can probably provide some words of wisdom that I would at least take in.

Do you have any good examples?
I am pretty impressed with Sadhguru, you can read him. He does not talk much about religion, he is more focused on talking about spirituality solutions for our current problems, including ecology and environment. He has even delivered speech in the UN.

We are basically talking about Indian gurus, do you have anything to add?

I dont follow any Indian Gurus as my spiritual journey is for me and I dont want anyone to help me or work with me for my own salvation. I think most of the gurus are really scamsters.

For example, take the example of OSHO, who was actually deported from US on charges of human trafficking and helping illegal immigration. Why would I take spiritual lessons from a guy that was deported for so many illicit and illegal activities?

You have a point, but in case of Osho, there are other things involved. He was considered a thereat to American culture. If he was actually involved in illegal activities, don't you think he would have been on trial in American court.

I dont think fake God men are part of Indian culture actually.

India has a strong Bhakthi tradition - which has always reaffirmed that no guru or intermediary is necessary for establishing and maintaining that spiritual connection between God and common man.

I am not talking about fake Gurus. I am not talking about those so called gurus who are serving sentences for rape charges. Some gurus who went to the west have been in controversy but their teaching is not fake.
Bhakti tradition certainly eliminates the need of intermediate person but if you go by vedic tradition you will see there is a huge need for gurus.
