Greetings everybody! My name is Robert and I arrived to this place to share my thoughts and opinions on whichever subjects I find interesting to me around here. I am 42 years old, I live in Argentina, and I work freelance. One of my newly discovered passions is gardening, I love planting vegetables and making sure I get my humble organic productions at home because the taste of them is specially better for me.

Thank you for the welcoming everybody!

I don't know much about gardening. Is it basically all the same or can one thing grow better than another and some require more care?
Different plants may require different attention and care, hours of sunlight, more water or less (or no watering at all), special attention when it comes to pests and diseases, how much space for growth, etc etc. It takes more dedication than many people think, more than I expected back when I was first starting with one or two plants of potatoes and later expanded to other veggies. I'd say, vegetables are so much more demanding than, say a fern.

I'm into gardening a little bit here and there. We're doing more of it this year to help reduce costs of produce.

We mainly grow for food and to provide flowers and plants for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and stuff like that.
That's so good, I do it for food too and to have more natural greens growing in my house, and bees and wasps visit my garden when it's Summer and it's lovely to see.
