This is especially true for the man as he is believed to be the provider. However, if you are earning enough, talking about financial management with your partner is always a sweet talk.
Please forgive my ignorance but what's monthly “money dates”? It's my first time of hearing about it. Is it something like monthly contribution of money to pay for the family's expenses?
I don't really have problems with my partner when it comes to making financial decisions. The challenge always comes when the two people always want to push their own personal agendas when it comes to financial decisions. I have agreed with my partner to always focus on the general good of "us" when we want to make financial decisions.
