Self care should be priorities in relationships. It is a very important area that we need to talk about because we should also pay attention to ourselves too. I found out that In most cases, we neglect ourselves and we care more for our partners. In as much as we spend time loving and caring for our partners, it's pertinent that we also have to remember to love ourselves too. How do we practice self-care in some ways in our relationships? My advice for achieving this would be to put self-care into your calendar as you would for any other appointment in your daily or weekly plans. It could be as basic as getting up half an hour earlier in the morning to engage in prayer or meditation, writing, or even, yoga. Taking care of yourself will help you to become more patient, more loving not only to your partner but also to yourself.
 
To practice self care in a relationship, you need to first love yourself. A lot of persons go into relationships without actually loving themselves, hence they rely on their partners to make them happy.
