Do you spend on time chatting online everyday or it's what you get into often and on? My favourite means of communication is through text message and chatting more than calling. This makes me spend more time chatting than using any other means of communication. I can spend more than 3-5 hours chatting daily.

Have you checked how many hours you chat everyday?

I mainly post on message boards as my form of chatting, I talk to some people occasionally on Discord and send text messages to my family occasionally. If you disclude message boards, I don't do a lot of chatting.

You seem to like typing but nevertheless It’s nice to do that as a way of sharing your feelings and make virtual friends. At least we all have the opportunity to not talk to people you do not know. That makes it a lot easier.

I used to chat all day LOL but from many years now, I have stopped wasting time like that and like to stay productive

I chat for about 2-3 hours daily—it helps me stay connected with friends and family.
2 to 3 hours chat everyday isn't bad. I'm chatting more because of being in a few group chat that about work. It's the time I spend in those group chats catching up that increases my daily chat time.

I haven't checked how many hours I spend chatting or messaging others in a day but I would guess it is anything from 3 - 4 hours, sometimes more each day. I am not someone who likes to talk so calling or voice chat is not something I do often due to social anxiety.

When I do communicate it is either with clients that I work with via chat or text message or it is friends or family who I keep in contact with that way.

I don't chat, I communicate with clients. When I want to communicate with friends and family, I make a phone call or a video call.

This is a good approach for someone who has little time to chat for long. Personally, I will say that those friends and family members will surely enjoy the little time you spend interacting with them.

I used to spend a lot of time chatting but now I have resorted to using just phone calls because it is very easy to get caught up chatting endlessly and wasting time that was supposed to be used for something more productive. Aside from that, phone and video calls are more fulfilling because it helps to nurture or create a deeper relationship.

Depending on who you are talking to, there are people we like to talk to so we don’t stop talking, and there are people with whom silence is the best solution for communication. This is my opinion, completely objectively.
