fitness How important is your fitness to you?

Do you care about staying fit?
I had a phase from around 2010-2014 where all I did was run. I lifted too, but no matter what I ate, I'd stay a stick. This is when I realized that no matter my diet, I could always go long distances.

But, I wanted size too.

I was only lacking one thing: T. My testosterone dropped below 300, which explains why I could never gain mass.

I got on TRT in 2016 and went from probably around 150 pounds to 225. I got really into bodybuilding, but realized I'd never get a Pro Card because I have a muscle deformity on my left calf that is essentially a smaller calf under it, and quite prominent when bofy fat is low.

However, I already went that far and loved it. So, I continued. Until C19. Gyms closed. Everything came to a crawl. There was no way to move the weight for what I was in order to maintain the mass and get the amount of food I needed (5000+ calories daily) due to shortages and price increases.

By the time gyms opened, I was down to 185, where I am now, but more muscular.

By 2022 I pretty much let myself go.

I don't think I'm going to target anything over 200 pounds this time. But, I want to get 40 reps of 225 on the flat bench back as a goal. Also, be able to run a sub-21 minute 3 mile, something that I'd struggle to do for 1 mile at a bulk 225 with the training and diet differences.
 
Fitness is very important for me. I try to remain fit by eating healthy food and staying active. I also do exercise at home but instead of strength training my focus is on being fit and healthy

It is really cool to be healthy. That's why I take fitness seriously. I also try to add tasty fruits and vegetables to my meal because it's very beneficial for my health. I also try to excersise in a fun way like cycling for about 30 minutes everyday.

I believe that’s a good decision. But fruits are good too provided you’re taking note of your calorie intake, and vegetables is more beneficial for your body. Vegetables have fewer carbs and richer in fiber, making it easier to digest.

Does anyone actually calculate how much calorie you are putting in by eating fruits, I do not think normal people actually care about calories while eating, that's why we end up eating more calories that the body wants.
 
I think that fitness should be important for each and every person. Physical and mental fitness is a very important aspect of one's life. I study Hadith scriptures and in our Hadith scriptures it has been stated that our body has right over us. We should exercise daily and make sure we remain fit. We should walk daily and engage in healthy activities.

I could not agree more you more! We need to prevent stress on our bodies. It is important to the wellbeing of our physical and psychological health. I appreciate that you are able to set aside time each day for exercise and healthy things. Your regular walking and exercising will let you stay active and enhance your health too.

Nowadays it is really hard to maintain fitness and there are many reason for that. People are nowadays quite busy with their stressful life. They do not have enough time for gym. They do not eat the right kind of food required to maintain good health. Apart from that, stress is also killing humans. Unhealthy habits such as smoking is also decreasing human lifespan as well. Other than that, depression is also a major reason why the health of many people is declining a lot. People should realize that health is a very important thing.

Some of the major barriers you have described enable one to understate the importance of exercising. While getting daily exercise is important for a variety of health reasons, it’s true that simple lifestyle changes can also have a major impact as well.
