Social media has impacted me positively in a massive way. I run an online fashion brand. And I make 80% of my sales from Facebook. I can say that social media has given me a livelihood. Negative impact? The only negative is that I spend so much of my time watching reels on TikTok.

Social media has impacted my business by helping creating opportunities for me to expand my business and have a greater reach. The bad side way that social media has impacted is that it puts me under lots of pressure. I have to mask my imperfections so that I would get traction on social media. It pushes me to live fake life.

Social media has really helped me to build professional connections. There are some relationships that I have had access to that have truly elevated my life and I got them from social media. The negative impact of social media is that it always takes my time. I always spend time that I would have used to be productive to stay active on social media.

I have been running my fashion brand for four years now.

I don't know how it works but TikTok videos can be very addictive. Their algorithm is very sharp to push videos to you that you would likely not scroll pass. I always use my last strength to leave TikTok when I get on there.

I only use social media platform for my needs and do not rely upon them for my wants. I am definitely not addicted and do not waste unnecessary time on it either. I have gained a lot of knowledge and know how from the social media platforms and have contributed what I thought is beneficial in areas that valued my inputs. It has also made communication for me easier and gets my work done smoothly.
