Generally speaking, there are three ways to help your kids overcome problems, one you solve all of their problems, two you let them solve their own problems and do not interfere, and three, you and your kid work together to overcome problems.

Well, I always go with the third option. That's because, when you solve your kids' problem, your kid will be too dependent, when you let the kid solve their own problems, they might not be able to address problems properly because they are too young to do that. However, when you and your kid work together, you are actually helping kids handle their problems, which not only develops a deep bonding between you and the child but also makes the kid more confident.

I am yet a parent but I am really fascinated with the idea of working together with my kids to solve their problems. It helps to build confidence in those kids that they can actually solve their problems by themselves while you as the parent stay in the process to ensure that they are on the right path in solving those problems.
