Attention needs to be paid to self-care routines especially during days with numerous responsibilities. The way I approach self-care begins with little steps at first. Taking shallow breaths and stretching my body or preparing a cup of tea gives positive changes. I arrange time in my daily schedule for my self-care routines which include short exercise sessions, baths and walking.
 
Creating a specific schedule could be the only way to deal with this problem. Having said that, creating a schedule itself could be a major problem because a lack of time is a major problem for many people. Most people do not have time, even people who have a part-time job.
 
Prioritizing self care in a busy schedule has a lot to do with your ability to say no to tasks that are not essential. You just have to set boundaries and cater for your wellbeing. You need to put into consideration more of the activities that puts your health right.
No matter how busy I am, I will always find time to enjoy meal, and sit and relax and so breathing exercises. I never work for extended hours, I always work in short session. I work from home and I always put on nice clothes before booting my computer.
