For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
Everyone must handle challenging conversations with care especially when dealing with coworkers and extended family members and close friends. Final resolution of both relationships and conflicts depend on how you are handling difficult matters. When I stay open to new ideas, plus practice empathy during tough conversations they tend to produce productive results
.

I put thought into the conversation beforehand, but I treat it like I treat many other things and just rip the bandaid off.

Get through with the conversation before the underlying problem of it can manifest into something far worse, where it makes the conversation longer, or can hurt a relationship much more.

For me, preparation is key. I prepare my thoughts in line with the conflict I want to resolve. Being composed and calm enables me to stop situations from getting out of control. When we maintain an attitude of paying attention toward others, it's a way to demonstrates respect for their view and it helps a lot to resolve issues quickly.

I am not very good at starting a conversation, however, is someone starts a conversation, I am very good at reciprocating. I can talk on a variety of topics. Having said that I find very difficult to open up when I am with strangers or the lesser known people. In a situation like this, I usually check social media and try to bring the interesting post I see into the conversation.

it is not easy to handle difficult conversations effectively, bit it is doable . it is to prepare to show understanding to the issue and the goals. Another is to choose a calm and private setting, actively listen to the other person's perspective. Give them time to share their words
If one can listen, handling difficult situations can always work in their favour. It is why it is very important to have that understanding of how things would work with handling such issues.
