off-topic How do you feel if your younger one has more success than you?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I’ll feel good because I love my younger ones so much and we share things. Even if they are more successful than I am, it’s going to be a thing of joy because we love each other for real..

This is nice! Siblings should build in love and not hatred. There is no need for anyone to be jealous of their loved ones. It doesn't make any sense to me at all.

Everyone should try to be successful.

Being successful is focusing on your own success and supporting the success of others.

If you get envious or jealous over the success of others, you're missing opportunities to be successful yourself because you are no longer focusing on your own success. Quit worrying about other people and what they're doing. Start worrying about you and those the closest to you.

That's how I see it.

This is how life should be.

Focus on becoming better while celebrating with others who have made it. Life shouldn't be all about what we think and believe that it is as life is much more than that. Once you start getting better and experiencing better growth, you can see that worrying about the success of others is a total waste of time.
