off-topic How do you deal with heatwaves?

Some of the UK and Europe at the moment is under a heat wave and I read today on the new that we are currently under a heat done so it is like being inside a pizza oven or a pan with the lid and everything below the heat dome is heating up.

It's not nice to experience at all, and today I have struggled.

How do you deal with heat waves when you get them?

I will stay indoors, drink a lot of waters and enjoy watery fruits.

Just blas the air conditioners, thats what I do.

However, now I will need to find new ways as the government has capped the lower temperature which we can set in order to reduce the cooling demand and the energy demand due to climate change.

While the policy is debatable, we need to find new ways out untill the policy reforms.

Stay in. I have a respiratory disorder so the pollen is no friend of mine.

Stay indoors as much as possible and drink lots of fluids. I also deal with heat waves quite often in Texas. The summer’s here can be brutal.

i do some cool stuff like Having cold food and drinks, have a cool shower or put cool water on my skin or clothes. Keep living space cool. Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down
