In my family, we hire some professionals to help take care of our grandparents. In doing so, we are able to reduce the stress and do the best for our loved one.
It is not easy caring for elderly ones. It gets worse when the elderly family member has a health challenge. You would need to have a high degree of patience to be able to cope through and help them. My grandma has stroke and we are trying to take good care of her.
My parents are above 65 years, they have a lot of health issues. While I cannot practically live with them, I time to time go to visit them, give them money and also take of major health issues and financial issues they are dealing with.
