In order to avoid financial disagreements, my partner and I go through thorough discussions. We have regular budget meetings discussing expenses and income. We create a shared spreadsheet for the budget to ensure transparency and shared accountability. It does not bring any financial stress on us at all and it improves our relationships with each other through cooperation.

Financial disagreements, from my opinion, can sometimes come from deeper issues like trust. To avoid disagreement, couples should begin discussing their financial values, goals, and expectations early on. They should be able to adjust the budget jointly on a constant basis so that the two of them remain aligned in financial responsibilities.

I do two three things to prevent financial conflicts in my household -

1. Maintain a common expense account in which both me and my partner my contribute equally.
2. Plan our expenses on a weekly basis and ensure that we use the money in common expense account for all our needs.
3. The remaining part of our income - may be used as per ones own wishes including all forms of investments.

I am my wife disagree, and sometimes the disagreements run for days, then finally we come to conclusion. Usually, it is she who wins. My wife is a stay at home money and I am the bread winner but every financial decision comes from her. Except my crypto savings, she has access to every thing. However, she was not always like this. She left her job after she was pregnant, and when she used to work, I was the one who decided finances, and I even managed her salary.
