Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
His Three Daughters was in my Netflix recommend list last night, but I chose the first recommendation first.

It looks like it's going to be a good watch for tonight, if I can sit through a movie at the theater and then come home to put on a second flick.

Anybody watch this one?

I finally got around to watching this.

It's a pretty good movie about death and mourning up until the point of death.

It made me miss that I didn't have the opportunity to be by my father's side at his passing. I sure would've traded anything to be there, just to say bye, but work had other plans.

I hope he understood that I couldn't be there when he left the world.

Overall, it's a good drama on family relationships, trying to come together to achieve one goal, and that is to get along and be by their dad's side.

3/5 as it's mostly just dialog inside an apartment, but entertaining with the family dynamics that some might relate to.

The movie is great and it's about three young women, Elizabeth Olsen, Claire Coon and Natasha Lyonne. They did well in terms of dressing and manner of handling stress. The first sister employs her peacemaking ability to handle distress, while the second sister used her domineering nature. The third sister employs her rebellious character to help herself from the suffering. In this movie they go through a lot and broken down and they need each other to sail through the struggle.

The favorite scene of mine takes place in the corridor where their father dies peacefully in his bed, situated between the doors of the sister who cared for him. Olsen is a mediator and was trapped between her sisters arguing with each other, uses probably, the harshest of the harsh words in the entire movie. This film made me slow down, allowed my mind to rest, and get inspired.
