discuss Have you ever hacked someone's smartphone/laptop?

Long back when smartphones were still new, there was a way I could enter someone's voice recorder inbox and listen to their messages. Back then, as youth, this was super fun as I could blackmail them for fun. I no longer recall how I used to do it, but later on I remember it was no longer possible. Have you ever hacked someone's smartphone/laptop/pc?

I have no knowledge and skills in hacking, therefore, I have never hacked anyone's devices. I have not even used anyone's devices without authorization (I do use my parents and spouse's devices without permission, though)

I haven't no, but I did use my exes phone before without her knowing. I don't have any skills nor expertise to do any hacking.

It is unethical to have access to the device of anyone without permission. I am completely against it and I can't do it myself. And I don't even see the need to break into the device of another person, even though it is my wife's phone.
