Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
This film talks about the story of a general who became a slave and the slave who became a gladiator. Then, the gladiator defied an emperor. It's one of my favorite films of all time. It's an epic film starring Russell Crowe as Maximus. He is the lead role. The late Richard Harris as Marcus did a great job here.

It's all incredible cast and an incredible story. The Script was impeccable. In my opinion, it's a flawless script and it's one of the things that makes the movies work so well.

I like how Maximus, the general of the Roman empire fought and won big battles. He was loved by his army and by his people. If you haven't watched this, you’re are missing out on something huge.

It's a beautiful story. It's about a guy who is loved by his army, his friends and his people . He is highly respected and a good man. Loved by his wife and his son. His family was killed by the Emperor. He was bent on taking a revenge, which he eventually did but he died in the process. It's a very good film to watch.

This is a great film that I keep watching again and again. As a matter of fact, I still watched it last week on YouTube. Things started heating up in the last fight. This was when Maximus is looking forward to going home. So, the emperor at the time Marcus Aurelius ask him to take over from him when he’s dead. But Maximus really want to go home to his wife and kid.

Maximus asked the Emperor, what about your son Commodus, isn't he supposed to be the next emperor? and of course the emperor said no and that it's not going to happen because you know he's not a moral man. Commodus find out from his dad and discovered that he favoured Maximus. Then, he killed his father. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watched it yet. It's extremely interesting!.
