Overview:
Get Rich or Die Tryin' is the debut studio album by American rapper 50 Cent. It was released on February 6, 2003, by Aftermath Entertainment, under a joint venture with Shady Records, and distributed by Interscope Records. Its initially planned release was pushed seven days ahead due to heavy bootlegging and Internet leakage. The album was produced by Dr. Dre and Eminem, and featured guest appearances from Eminem and G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 872,000 copies in its first week. It generated four singles, including the number one hits "In da Club" and "21 Questions", and the international hit "P.I.M.P." By 2016, Get Rich or Die Tryin' sold 8.4 million copies in the United States and is certified 6× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Upon its release, the album received favorable reviews from most music critics and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, losing to OutKast's Speakerboxxx/The Love Below at the 46th Grammy Awards. It ranked number 37 on Rolling Stone's list of best albums of the 2000s.

I remember stealing this CD from my baby cousin before my parents, siblings, and I went on vacation, a month after it came out. She was mad, but it was worth it. I eventually bought her another copy, though. 😂

This CD didn’t have any skippable songs at all to me.

"Many Men" and "What Up Gangsta" are my favorites, followed by "Wanksta" and "If I Can't."

(#05) In da Club randomly played while I'm sitting in work hour traffic.

Cranking it to 40 volume (highest volume for the stock speakers to handle before distortion).

Throwback to 2003. 🎵
In da club and What up gangsta are still my favorites from this album. Blood hound is my third favorite.

Get Rich Or DieTryin’ can be said to be 50 Cent's debut album. He was actually the first artist to sign to Eminem’s label, Shady Records. This is the album that blew him up. The hook on this album is for people to sing along. Almost all the songs here are almost everywhere and on everyone's lips back then. Though the beats were simple, it shows that simplicity can make a big difference.

One of the best songs to sing along with on this album is 21 Questions. It's my favourite track on Get Rich Or DieTryin’. What's Up Gansta is another track that is easy to sing along with. He got some gun sound effects on it. It was indeed a hit song.

Get Rich Or DieTryin’ is a great album and it's typically a club song. He got some crazy features on the album. I recommend it because it's great.

50 Cent said some things in the album and it almost got him into trouble. He was telling his critics that he was going to kill people and he wouldn't care about it. I guess he was taken to court over the issue. I can't really remember what transpired.

Blood Hound is a great song featuring Young Buck. In this song, both of them were spilling out all the criminal activities they love to commit. It's a typical street song.

“Many Men” is also a great song. That's where he talks about the incident that happened in 2000 that left him with 9 holes. PIMP is another great song to listen to in the album as well. He featured Snoop Dog and G unit. It was a hit. The album is great and it's packed with many great songs.

My favourite track is Patiently Waiting. That song has the best Eminem verses of all time. I keep listening to that song over and over again. On this album, 50 Cent was sending shots to Ja Rule because of the disagreement between the both of them. Even on Back Down, he was bullying Ja Rule all through. Nevertheless, it's a good album.
