Makes about 8-10 twists
Ingredients:
1 pound refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
4 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
½ cup Alfredo sauce (homemade or jarred)
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 clove garlic, minced
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
Roll the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick.
Spread the Alfredo: Spread Alfredo sauce evenly over the dough. Sprinkle on the mozzarella, Parmesan, and bacon crumbles.
Cut & Twist: Cut the dough into strips about 1-inch wide. Fold each strip in half lengthwise and twist gently. Place twists on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Garlic Butter Brush: Mix the melted butter with minced garlic. Brush this garlic butter all over the twists.
Bake: Bake at 400°F for about 15-20 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
Serve & Dip: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot. These twists are perfect for dunking in extra Alfredo or a marinara sauce. You’ve got that comforting bacon Alfredo flavor wrapped in a soft, garlicky, cheesy bread twist that’ll have everyone grabbing seconds and thirds!
