Have you come across a forum that the members are totally pathetic? Do you stay long in such forum or walk out immediately? I wouldn't waste my time in that type of community because it's obviously clear there's no rules and regulations guiding them.

What are your thoughts on forums with so much chaos from the members?

A lot of big boards that have been around for decades are like that.

Cliques have formed and the forum owner is a part of them.

I rarely will join a big board because of it. But if I do, I know I'm either going to be hated or welcomed usually after my introduction. If I get insulted during it, I change my password to something I won't remember in the future, put a bogus email in, and logout and never come back.

Forums that have a lot of active users, get a lot of activities and have been around for many years tend to have unruly members. I believe the owner and the staff are also part of the unruly behavior. I wouldn't want to be in a forum where there is no discipline. That's because most of the times discussion can go out of hands and people might start trolling you.

I am not a member of any such forums.

I was and when I realized that the place is toxic, I came out of it. This happens when the forums are bog and members are either family or friends in real life or when a member is too popular that removing them would be difficult.

I feel sorry for such communities because like ROFLMAO, they should be friendly and safe space to communicate.
