Are there any foreign cultural practices that you like so much that you wish you had them in your culture? I like how Christians wear the white gown and the veil during their marriages. I also like the kilt that Scots wear. I enjoy watching the carnivals that different cultures celebrate. I like how family gathers during Thanksgiving and celebrate Christmas together.
 
In Japan, greetings.

You don't know how much a greeting could mean to someone that day, someone just randomly taking notice of them and giving them a "good morning"; they might not have much human interaction at all, and just being noticed could change their day.

In Japan, we often greet as many people, even as we merely pass by to do our own business, in our daily lives.
