discuss Favorite search engine?

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
The first search engines that I used were Ask Jeeves, Excite, and Altavista. You probably couldn't even recognize those names now. Then, I got my first email address, @yahoo.com, and learned that Yahoo! was a search engine too. So, I switched all my searching over to there as it just made life simpler.

Google finally came along and changed search as I knew it, forever, by providing more accurate search results.

I'm now hooked on Google, but I know that they hide and derank pages that could be exactly what I'm looking for, having me go pages deep to find what I searched for. Because of that, I'll now switch between Google and DuckDuckGo (Duck) to get the best results I'm searching for.

I've maybe touched Bing once, and it turned me off that it was essentially a clone of Google's homepage at the time. I'm sure if the UI was different, I would've used it more often to see if it gave good results.

Ask jeeves was so long ago. I remember using it too along with Yahoo, but now Bing powers Yahoo.

I’m looking forward to OpenAi’s upcoming search engine though. Hopefully it’s as good as Google’s.

I mostly use Google. I sometimes use Bing as well. I have tried other search engines like Yandex, Duck Duck Go and Yahoo. However, I am more comfortable using Google.

For me l really like using the Google search engine. It gives me the conveniency in getting the most appealing results whenever l make my own researches.

My main search engine is Bing, but I have also been using Brave Search. Google has been cannibalized so much by SEO that it is now almost impossible to find exactly what you need on the search engine.

Google is my favorite, I don't mind using Bing at times though too so I can earn rewards points. The worse one I've used so far is Brave's, I use their browser and by default they have their own search engine but man you don't get good results using it IMO, it's just too far behind currently.

I guess it would have to be Google because Bing redirects me to MSN links when I'm on my actual laptop and not my Chromebook,
It does that on my machine sometimes too. But, I still love Bing because of the SEO shenanigans on Google's search engine results.

You can use Chatgpt to search things as well. It uses Bing’s search engine for some results.

ChatGPT is an excellent search engine. It's another advantage to utilizes Bing search engine and it will make it even more effective. I will have to incorporated it more into my lifestyle, it is really beneficial.

I also prefer Google. It is easy and it provides me with the right information. I have it on my laptop and my phone and it is very useful. It's my go-to search engine.

I also prefer Google. It is also very simple to work with and provides me with the correct data I need. It has adequate security for laptop and phone. I use Google more often as my search engine. It's fast and reliable.

I have always preferred Google search engine because it's like the synonym of search and have captured the market with their accurate results.

I also like Google for searching. It can be a good search engine that normally provides me with what I am in search for most of the time. Many people use Mozilla Firefox as web-browser, but it is not search engine. Of course, with Firefox, you can go to Google or any other search engine, which is rather helpful.
