There was a time when editing was left for the experts, and a common-man would not even dream of modifying a picture of a video clip in a way for it to look fancy. As the technology became more advanced, and accessible via the internet in form of editor apps like PIcsart, Inshot, Canva etc, editing has become a piece of cake. Young kids are editing photos and videos like a pro and even uploading them on social media platforms. For them its a skill to be proud of, however, as an adult, I often worry that someday kids will morph videos and prove innocent as guilty! What's your take on this?

Editing and design used to be something people could do for money.

Technology has always advanced it to what it is now, though.

When I was first on the internet, you had to find and hire a webmaster or graphic designer to create things. It usually was quite a bit of money to get that, too.

About 10 years in, sites like Fiver made is a lot easier and way cheaper, which put the people making real money out of work.

AI makes it even easier and even more cheaper which puts the Fiver people out o work.

Tech is great, but it also sucks, LOL.

Well, I have to agree that photo and video editing has become easier with drag and drop tool and Gen AI tool, however, you still need a lot of skills to do good with editing. You still neeed graphic design skills and video editing skills to edit photo and videos despite existence of AI tools and drag and drop tools
