discuss Does pure evil and pure good truly exist?

This thread covers all aspects of ideologies, including beliefs, principles, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture.
Well, how much are they going to fold to? Are they going to put on a dress and agree to Trump's ultimate wish? (clown-show alert) 🤡
They will cave to every demand because America has them under the thumb.

It will make both Americans and Canadians prosper. But, nobody can see past the piddly rivalry as of yet to see the intended outcome of fair trade and agreements.

Well, the problem is that the people there don't agree to it. It's not even 50 percent that don't favor annexation, it's 90 percent.

And they aren't going to bend over on trade as much you think, because they can just befriend Europe or even China, and if there is a threat to that, then the militaries of those places are in place.

I'm not talking about the annexing of Canada. You seem fixated on that point. It's irrelevant, as for like the 3rd time, they would need to amend their Constitution, which is never going to happen in the first place.

I'm strictly speaking of the economies of both the United States and Canada.

Europe has already turned to Russia for trade because of their horrible green policies, which, aside, is funding the Russian side of the Ukraine invasion.

If they befriend Russia and China, how do you think the landscape of Europe will look? Look no further than Africa. Do you think the people of Europe would like China-state-run industry in their countries, or do you think the EU would fall before that?

I don't want to fixate on this point like you, but if the path that the US is currently taking does pan out for the good, the numbers will flip overnight. Then, we may see people demanding Constitutional reform to join the US. But it's still a very unlikely probability because of the debates that would need to take place over government structure, religion, speech, gun ownership, etc.

I'm merely saying that they would favor doing so, but it couldn't possibly happen in our lifetime as everyone in Parliament would need to be replaced and then those debates to take place for it to even be remotely possible.

Has Trump stopped his fixation on it. When will MAGA quit rubber stamping Trump's dementia?

I was talking about Canada turning to military protection aside from the US.
