We all experience life in different ways. How we're raised is how we often view the world, so it got me thinking. Does pure evil truly exist? We know us humans are capable of doing evil acts, but again what do you view as evil? There's the obvious contenders such as killing another living creature, harming innocent people such as children and animals, etc. But then again you've got people who believe that anyone who does drugs are pure evil human beings. Then on the other side of the coin, can a person be purely a good person? Everyone has secrets and demons, I don't think pure evil or pure good truly exists. Every single human has a different opinion on how society should work, I also don't believe in a God or angels because I'm not that religious. So perhaps this is why I don't believe pure evil or pure good exists in the world and I think it's all grey. Life isn't black and white, so pure evil and pure good cannot exist because this would mean the world is black and white.

I believe that both pure good and pure evil can exist. I've seen people that exhibit pure good in every action they take, and then we can go to the extreme of Hitler for pure evil.

The question then becomes mental faculty: Are those people who exhibit pure good and pure evil wired that way, or is it something deeper, like spiritual?

People who do pure evil think they're doing the ultimate good. For instance, Hitler was just some anti-communist fanatic and he blamed Jewish intellectuals for Communism.

We would have needed his intact brain to confirm whether what he did was something he thought was good or evil, in the sense that I'm speaking, as we are witnessing American football players with CTE.

There could be something wrong with their brain, and at that point, can we blame them? Society today has already given people with mental health issues a pass on things to a certain extent. So, if it's a hardwired problem, are they to be judged as purely good or pure evil when it comes down to it?

Not defending Hitler. Just want to know how good and evil tick, whether it's a connection in the brain that just doesn't know or if it's spiritual and doing it for reasons beyond the body.

Disease does make a difference. For instance, it seems quite obvious Einstein had autism.

It does exist in terms of protagonist and antagonist, God and Satan. Anything else has it's ups and downs, it's changable.
The bible says the pure in heart will see God and I think it describes pure good as loving and serving others.
Which god? The Christian god or one of the between 8,000 and 12,000 distinct deities who have been worshipped across human history?

Arguably, libertarians can't because it comes down to "You leave me alone, I leave you alone—unless you violate my rights."
I've always liked the Libertarian model in all honesty.

I've considered running for county sheriff and if I did, I might run as Libertarian.

I'm personally a mix of a libertarian and a Constitutional conservative; the Constitutional part somewhat overlaps libertarian to a degree.

Conservative for traditional values, free enterprise, and community and patriotism.

I'm definitely a patriot. I love this country and regardless of who's in charge of it, I'd fight to the death for this country. It's the greatest country in the world. I'll never put any other country over the United States. :)

If that's a problem, well we can put in their ass, because it's the American way!
I'll put Canada over the US cause this is nothing but 1st degree disrespect from the US.

Canada is cool but I'd rather live in America.

Canada can't really defend itself without us. If all out war threatened that country, they would cave and do whatever we wanted in order for us to help them.

Unless China or Russia was smart and offered a military defense support package to them. Especially if they under bid what America would offer. That might actually put us in a disadvantage.

I'd rather be their ally but they need to step up with border security.

If I had my way, I'd classify fentonyl manufacturers and deals as terrorists and take them out where ever they are. They're killing my country. I see it every day. It's 100 times worse than meth.

This is something that the left cannot comprehend. They hate Trump so much (arguably America) that they would love to see him fail, hence the falling of America, than support him to try and make a compromise that might actually improve the living conditions of Americans.

Their talking point on Canada being seized by the US is kind of moot and shows just how little they understand. Canada is a part of NATO. An attack on one nation is an attack against all. People on the left really have the idea that America will take Canada by force. However, they fail to realize that it's a part of NATO, which would pit every NATO country against the US and open up Russia and China to join in on a 3rd front.

Same with Mexico. And the US. All 3 countries should be guarding their borders from internal threats posed for the other side and external threats that may come their way.

I'd be iffy on terrorism, but I'm not opposed to locking up even the small-time dealers with stiff penalties. Hit it at the lowest level, and there's no way that the highest can earn from our 100,000 annual deaths.

If you attack it at the source, it will only create another source to provide it, as the demand will still be there. Cut off the supply at the lowest level, and there will be no demand for it, solving the problem once and for all.

Then why the talk by Trump? Does he have dementia?
