There are songs you listen to and you can’t help remember some experiences you have had in the past. The songs bring them all back vividly, whether good memories or bad ones.

For me whenever I listen to Coats of many colors, I remember the day when I struggled to even wear nice clothes.

Do you have songs that make you feel that way?

Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me (2001 release) reminds me of when my first crush turned me down. 😞

I obviously got over it, but it does remind me of that each time it plays. 😅

Linkin Park - In The End reminds me of the time my business partner cut me out completely of 99% of my work (he did the artwork). It hit the airwaves the week it happened and helped me get through the darkness that put me in because, at the time, I took the lyrics literally, that in the end, it doesn't even matter, so get back up and get back to something. It also taught me to not trust as easily, and get things in writing.

Solider Hard - Red Flags because I missed the red flags; everyone did. 😭

It's still in my playlist as a reminder to do random buddy checks.

I don't mean to be a killjoy. Many more songs can't come to mind that remind me of the positivity of life. I'll just end it with Coldplay - We Pray as it's the most uplifting song I've heard recently.

Another Brick in The Wall exactly tells what kid of school and college life I had. This song by Pink Floyd touches me very deeply

That moment that I felt I was living the dreams of others by taking up paid employment. I was fighting with the inner me to leave and pursue my passion.
The song, "I want to break free" sums up that moment for me.
So let me guess, you eventually broke free and went to pursue your passion?

I can relate to that song. “I want to break Free” is a nice song that has also lifted my mood as well because the message in there coincides with the situation in my life too.
