At the beginning of the season, never gave Liverpool any chance of being able to win the EPL. With Klopp going out, a new manager with no serious signing of players, it looks like they will struggle to make top 4.

Things are totally different from how I expected as they are leading the charge to win the league. No team in EPL now is playing a better football than Liverpool.

Never, they are not Arsenal. It's only Arsenal that are capable of bottling the league being in the same position Liverpool is right now.

They just dropped 4 points in 2 back to back matches and couldn't score any goals.
This season is Liverpool's. They are leading Arsenal with 12 points after 29 matches. And they are more consistent than Arsenal. In the EPL, Liverpool has won four matches out of their last five matches while Arsenal won only two.

It’s possible they could bottle it. That would be the Liverpool way. They are in a good position though. And crashing out of the Champions League means they don’t have distractions.
They went from going to win quadruple to winning one title within the space of one month. It must be a very heartbreaking season for every Liverpool fan.

They are not Arsenal, I'm sure they won't throw away the league.

It is still very difficult to say or determine whether Liverpool will win the league despite their winning streak. They have been playing some impressive football and I've been consistently impressive over time under the watch of a new manager, Armed Slot. He seems to be making a positive impact in the team and the momentum is getting stronger each day.

Liverpool looks strong, but the EPL is unpredictable. Injuries or pressure could still make them bottle the league.

Knowing the scousers, if they win the Premier League they won't care one bit about defeat in any other contest. That's the real prize for them (at least they will tell you that now that PSG did them in the Champions League).
True. It's not like they have any other options available to hold onto. I'm sure every other team in their position would feel the same way.

No, they will not. Looking at the other teams in the EPL, whichever one will you choose to knock off Liverpool winning it this season? It can't be Arsenal 😂

If Liverpool should bottle this league, they should be relegated and banished. The league is already theirs. I don't see Arsenal rising to the occasion. But nine matches is enough for a team to be foolish though. But certainly not this Liverpool.

Arsenal has never been known to do well when it has to do with charging for a title chase. They had come close for a couple of times and ended up not doing anything at all. Arsenal is not just a team that anyone would rely on to do that and they proved many right with how they gave up early.

Someone told me that Liverpool can afford to lose four games and still claim the title. Except for Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea you'd expect them to win their remaining fixtures convincingly.
They had no reason to throw some of their matches probably to rest players for another game. They are no longer playing in any other cups or tournaments. They had to win the rest of their games which I see them doing even after already being confirmed as the champions.

They didn't bottle the league after all. We would have just changed their name to Bottlers if they had lost the league from the position they were in. That's a fitting farewell gift for MO Salah who has given his all to take Liverpool to the top of European and English football.
Newcastle United is the team with the biggest points gap a team has bottled in the English Premier League which was 12 points in the 1995/96 season. They threw away the lead which allowed Manchester United to win the league by the end of the season with 82 points while Newcastle United finished second with 78 points.

They are not Arsenal who has held the record for bottling titles. These guys are serious and continued pushing till they won the league!

With the signing of Wirtz for the amount mentioned, they are further making a statement. They are certainly going to fight for the league again next season. And might just win it.

Wirtz's signing looks like when Man Utd had money to throw around. Let's see how he is going to adapt to the league first before making a conclusion!

They have also signed Kekerz from Bournemouth if I remembered correctly. They are now looking at getting a new striker in the person of either Alexander Isak or Victor Oshimen.
