I know about the importance of promotion in the music industry especially for new upcoming artists. If they don't do a good promotion for their songs, even though it's good, it might not sell well. I've equally seen big artists take on massive promotions for their new songs which means even with their popularity, they need more from the song's promotion.

Do you think a good song need any promotion to gain recognition?

I know of people around that have recorded very good tracks. I mean tracks that are so excellent that it could battle for major music awards. But they are still underground. And it is because of lack of funds to promote those tracks. No matter how good a song it. It needs massive promotion to be known and go mainstream.

It should still reach to people. If the song does not reach people how would they listen and like it. Without promotion how can it reach people
Totally agree. The song needs to be marketed and without marketing, the song will not gain visibility. However, in the era of youtube and tiktok it is easier to reach target audience with little effort.

A good song doesn't just need promotion but a massive promotion for it to do well commercially. There are so many good songs that can even get good sales because of lack of promotion to bring people's attention to it.
