I've always wished it's possible for me to choose my favourite means of treatment in the hospital whenever I'm ill. I don't have any problem with taking pills but if it's possible to get only injections, I'll go for it. Whenever I see people (adults) who are afraid of needles, it makes me laugh so much.

I find your preference for injections very rare because most people avoid them. All my life I have never encountered someone who would choose injections over oral medication.

I will want to take more injections when I am sick. Pills are not for me at all since I will dodge from taking them because of how bitter that most of them are.

Apparently it seems like injections work better than pills in many cases. Perhaps injections are much potent as compared to pills and this is what many people believe. Certain medications such as vaccinations cannot be consumed in the form of pills. This is why many patients may not have many options.

I prefer injections over pills because that's what I grew up receiving whenever I was sick. So it probably rendered pills not as effective.

I have no preference. I will use what ever doctor recommends. However, sometimes injections can be painful, especially of you have to get it through cannula.

I have 2 injectable medicines that I've been taking for years where needles don't phase me anymore.

I'd prefer oral, but if it needs to be an injection, so be it.

If I'm really sick, I prefer injections, especially a steroid shot.

However, I really don't have a preference either or. Whatever makes me feel better is perfectly fine with me.

But some treatment requires a large bore needle and that makes me extremely uncomfortable. Additionally, another factor I take into account when deciding on treatment is if I should get admitted to the hospitals inpatient department or not.

Being a doctor myself, I am fine injecting medicines at home.

For continuous care, I need to blood let, or donate blood every 2-3 months. So even the bigger needles don't phase me anymore.

I wish hypodermic needles were legal here. It would save me about 2 hours a week as I need to go into a clinic to get my injections. Fortunately, HGH comes in a "pen" injector that I can do at home, otherwise, I'd live at the hospital.

I can't taste mine cause they go down so quick. But, just to see what one tasted like, I let it dissolve a bit in my mouth, so completely understand.

Pills makes me want to vomit and I hate the after taste and smell some of the horrible ones used to give.

Pills are generally disgusting for me.

I don't mind injections or pills when it comes to taking medication in a hospital or even at home, but I will admit that I much prefer using pills where I can over needles.

I am not afraid of needles, but I have had friends and also family members who have a genuine fear of needles.

I always prefer injections for treatment because they seem to work faster than pills. I am almost indifferent between the two in terms of which one is convenient for me. I would only choose injection because of quick effects.
