I play games but I don’t make money from games. Streaming is one of the most popular ways to make money as a gamer. When you stream, you can earn from platform specific ads, brand deals, sponsorship, affiliate marketing, etc.But simply playing games isn’t enough to make money, you need audience to join your stream, you need to engage and communicate with your viewers, provide entertaining commentary, tips, or humor, and build a loyal audience who will watch regularly and share your content. I have no intention of making monet from gaming. ButnI have a nephew who is in 10th grade and wants to become a game streamer.

However, there are a lot people who do make money out of gaming. Though it might seem challenging, you will get many users who can join your stream either for multiplayer activity or because they want to know how to tackle on particular level.

I wonder how many platforms allow you to monetize your own gameplay?

I have earn around 500 dollars in a app for streaming games and several steam gift cards for upload gaming videos to a site . That was some time/ years ago . The app used to have a event that allow us to earn from streaming without the need to have people watching . Both are not possible anymore , the gift card site closed and the app dont support game streams anymore .
