A lady friend told me about what she's passing through it her relationship. She loves her boyfriend very well but can't help it with feeling depressed after having a sex with him unprotected. I think it's a mental health issue with her because she told me about how she used to contract STI in here previous relationship.

Her current doesn't look like he's cheating on her but I feel she's still not out of the trauma of what happened in her past relationship.

Do you feel depressed after having unprotected sex?

I am wondering how could a woman share about unprotected sex with a person who is not her partner and is just a friend?
Well, there is no need to feel depressed, there are medicines that stop pregnancy if you take the pills within 24 hours of unprotected sex.

Sometimes, it is not about the pregnancy, but about finding out whether the other person is clean and safe. There are diseases that taking drugs may not cure at all.

I have unprotected sex with just one partner that I have come to trust very much. I don't feel depressed about that. It is only when you don't even trust that person that you are having sex with unprotected that you would feel scared and depressed. The lady should suggest condoms to the boyfriend till she is comfortable.

I don't have issues with how much you trust your partner, but having regular medical checkups is also very important. As long as you are able to do that, your mind will be at rest.
