Our body is capricious, if we do not fulfill our obligations to our body by providing it with nutrients, the body systems get mad at us and give us a sickness only through eating healthy and nutritious foods health could be restored. We need to eat the six basic foods and one of them is green and yellow vegetables. Which among the green and leafy vegetables you like to consume? For me, I like all vegetables, but among them, my favorites are celery, spinach, moringa, parsley, and cabbage. Among the yellows, I like squash, carrots, yellow sweet potato and oranges.

I'm a vegetarian and I love to eat vegetables a lot. However, the importance of eating leafy greens and yellow veggies are so huge health wise. They are packed with nutrients that are good for the body, especially antioxidants which can work wonders for our overall health. To be precise, I'm a very big fan of spinach and kale. You will be surprised how versatile these vegetables are as they can be added to almost every food.

In a recent book titled 'How not to diet', I read that having one serving of green leafy vegetables a day will keep the doctor away. The main reason is that the leafy vegetables actually absorbs lipids and unhealthy fats from the food while the process of digestion is undergoing.

However, its less tasty and very difficult to eat. :(
