If you play games and if you also want to become social media content creator, you can easily create content from your gaming activity. If you can speak well, you can even take your gaming and content creation to the next level, and start making money from gaming. Have you ever done that? Well, I have never done this except creating short and medium length videos and sharing on Facebook or Youtube, I never made money form these videos

I think I got paid from youtube once while making content before they raised the requirements.
What did you stop? If you had continued, you could have grown very big by this time. I am not very good at creating game content but this is something I am very interested in.

I still do it from time to time, but they raised the minimum requirements needed for youtube partnership, which I did not meet.
If you are still publishing content, I believe sooner or later you will be able to pass the monetization threshold. If you are not reaching there organically, you can also try running ads.

I have never tried to make money from games. I play games for relaxation purposes. I actually enjoy watching game streams but I have never done it myself. Creating high quality content on social media requires consistency, dedication and perseverance. This is something I may consider in future.
It may be easier to stream and post small snippets on platforms like Instagram instead of trying to get into a Youtube partner program.

There are many content creators that are able to earn money from streaming the games that they play.

I have not dabbled into gaming content creation but I have the thought of doing it later in the future. Just of recent, I've started to grow interest in gaming, especially video games, but I'm still doing some research on how to explore the sponsorships and affiliate marketing deals, so I can monetize my content. It's all about the money!

It is true! Majority of us only play video games to unwind but I found something, which I think might be useful. We may record gameplay and share tips of the video games we played. That also could be monetized as well.

Wow! That's a great achievement. I have never been paid by YouTube since I was publishing videos because it’s hard to meet the requirements. I understand your plight because you're not alone in this. How about exploring the Twitch streaming platform? Their requirement is not as steep as that of YouTube.

You are right! Instagram is a very good platform for lovers of short video content. I've also been trying something out on tiktok as well. Tiktok has been so engaging and rapidly growing.

Not only Instagram, but you can also upload reels to Threads and Facebook, which all enable you to reach a bigger audience.

Tiktok is also another platform that works well too along, so you can promote your videos on all of the platforms and attract fans. Twitter has a video system too.

The key is to try and make sure that your videos are available everywhere, so if one platforms disappear, your fans can find you elsewhere.

I am a gamer and I have taken the path of video game content creator both live streaming and creating videos for sites such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Twitch, Mixer before it closed, YouTube, Trovo and I did once give Kick a try but was not too impressed.

My plan is to slowly build back and get back into video game content creation, I was able to make some money from it before but I would like to work towards a more steady income when I can.

Stream it's fun but my voice is awfull recorded and i don't know what to say so i only have done it a few times . I enjoyed it but no viewers , lol .
I was in a website that was kinda like a mix of youtube with social media ( chat ) called fruitlab where the users earn the site currency from the videos views and then trade it for gift cards . It's dead now i think , site have been in maintenace for a long time and looks like their office is closed . I think they have become too ambitious and the last drop was they have gone for crypto and didn't work well .
