I don't know how someone would find a close family member attractive enough to be involved romantically with them. I find it very repulsive when my male cousins touch me in the waist. It is already feeling like incest for me. Talk more of when the medical risks of inbreeding is properly documented. It is people that are sick that do such.

Consanguineous marriages is a marriage between close relatives and based on research, we were made to know that it increases the risk of genetic disorder and health issues in offspring. But I don't really know how true this is.
I don’t advocate consanguineous marriages because science shows higher risks of genetic disorders. While cultural traditions matter, I believe health and well-being should come first when making such personal decisions.
