I think Dell G3 15 is a beast of a laptop for gaming. The Intel Core i5, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, and 8GB RAM makes it a best choice. It runs complex game like Fortnite very smoothly. The battery life is decent too. The last time I checked, it was sold around around $800.

I’m going to recommend the Acer Predator Helios 300 to you. The specs are Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, and 16GB RAM. It's usually priced around $950. What sold me out on this laptop is the customizable keyboard and effective cooling system.

Acer makes budget gaming laptop, you can find a lot of good gaming laptos under $1000 under Acer brand. However, I have never used Acer myself and I do not know about durability and performance of these laptops
