off-topic At which point is it necessary to just give up on someone?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
I think it depends on who this "someone" is. If it is your girl/boyfriend with no legal bond, it is easy; however, if it is your wife/husband, giving up can be difficult. If you have kids, it would be even more difficult.
That's why people have to be very careful who they birth children with because that seems like an eternal bond. But I have still some people that walk away from someone they had kids with and are even better off. I have given up on lots of people that are not teachable.

You are right. Giving up on a wife or husband is not easy especially when kids are involved. It means that a lot of things should be put into consideration at the end of the day.

IT necessary to give up on someone in three situations:

1. When there are multiple efforts to break the trust in a relationships (TRUST)
2. When the person tries to control you, having an opinion in everything that you do. (TOXICITY)
3. When you are no longer attracted to a person in any sense and think its going to be a burden. (TENDERNESS)

This is called my own 3T rule xD
