My brother was a huge fan of marbles, he had a collection of around three big jars full of marbles that he had won while playing with friends. Each marble has a specific characteristic and a name and value. I used to admire the beautiful colors and designs of the marble as a kid. These marble games were highly common back in the day and most were played any where in a street or ground. Do you know about the game and have you ever collected the marbles?

I remember when I was in primary school, marbles became popular again, and we would all be collecting them and bringing them into school to play marbles together. That was until it started to cause a lot of issue,s and they banned us from bringing marbles into school anymore.

I can't say I collect marbles now, but this thread did remind me that I saw marbles being sold in a store just a few weeks ago, and I had not seen that in a while. I wonder if they are making a comeback again.

I occasionally played marbles when I was kid but I wasn't a good player, therefore, I did not win, and I was never into marble collecting. These days I don't see kids playing marbles, not even in the rural areas where internet is limited, and kids do not have access to devices.
