I thought that Andor was a brilliant Star Wars TV show. It has a brutal realism to it which you don't often see in a setting which features space wizards. It is set in the lead up to Rogue One - which remains my favourite Star Wars movie. Andor was brilliant.

And now, season two is announced. Here is the trailer:

Season 1 stood out among Star Wars projects for its refreshingly realistic portrayal of life under Imperial rule, offering audiences a tense, spy-thriller aesthetic that resonated with fans hungry for mature narratives in the galaxy far, far away. The upcoming season will continue exploring Cassian’s harrowing transformation from a cautious thief to the fiercely committed Rebel spy fans first met in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

I'm far too excited for this. April 22 is marked in my calendar.
