With reference to the yesterday devastating air plane crash in Ahmedabad, taking roughly 250+ lives, it is a point to ponder if the aircrafts were to be designed, operated, checked and controlled by AI, would flights be safer than present day? Could several lives be saved? Would aircrafts be lesser lost? Would they be easily found/ tracked if lost? Do you think engine failures are purely technical or were humans to see over that they didn't fail?

There are a lot of fictional accounts that have shown how AI can go wrong. I once watched on news where a humanoid robot went wrong and killed a person. Well, I don't think AI are 100 percent safe, they are machines than machines also have issues, but I also think they can be less judgemental and emotional, thus makes lesser mistakes.
