This is a really heavy movie, and I remember watching it a long time ago. This movie shows how fucked up the world around us really is, despite nobody talking about it. We are living our normal lives in complete ignorance of what the rich elite do to satisfy their twisted needs. The movie also gives us insight into how, when you have money, things slowly become boring to you, and you need something more until you become mentally depraved.

It's an adult movie, so it's not for everyone.

I saw quite a lot of negative reviews on this movie and I don't understood where those low ratings came from. The only thing that is wrong is Nicholas Cage while he is talking to Mrs. Christian. He talks like he had the script read to him just before he went on air. It is so unnatural because it's impossible for people do not utter such phrases in a conversation. Apart from that, it is quite an impressive film. he played the role of a detective well.

Well, I believe it is a very dark film. In my opinion, it is good plot. It might seem uninteresting, but trust me, the film is very addictive. But,I would like to know why was it that Nicholas Cage’s character was the only one that got chosen for the job?

I think it's because he is apparently the best private investigator and had only recently worked for the senator. Anyways, it is a good movie I watch it once. I recommend it to those who haven't watched it yet.
